Description
After graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy and serving four years on active duty, I enrolled in medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina. I wanted to go into medicine because it allowed me to combine my love of science with my passion to help others and I specialized in obstetrics and gynecology because I love being involved in women's health. \n Since then, I have worked in private practice, in academic medicine and as an OB-GYN hospitalist. High-risk obstetrics and preventive healthcare are among my clinical interests, and I also enjoy coaching patients on how to have a healthy pregnancy, which includes exercise. \n I am a board-certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. \n In my free time, I enjoy following spending time with my two children, running, mountain biking, and cheering on the South Carolina women's basketball team.
