Cara Kendrick, DNP, APRN, CPNP-PC

Description

Cara Kendrick is a doctorly prepared pediatric nurse practitioner and summa cum laude graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina's (MUSC) Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program. Dr. Kendrick grew up in Isle of Palms, SC, and earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the College of Charleston. She then obtained her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) from MUSC's Accelerated BSN program and worked in Pediatric Critical Care for several years before obtaining her DNP degree. Dr. Kendrick is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board in Pediatric Primary Care. She is passionate about injury and disease prevention, behavioral health, and caring for young children with medical complexities. In her spare time, Dr. Kendrick enjoys volunteering in the nursery at her family's church, attending exercise classes, and spending time with her husband and two young children.
